Copy-Editing

Does that period go before or after the quotation marks? How do I cite this in MLA style? And how on earth do you use a semi-colon?

These and other writing questions can make you want to pull your hair out. Let me help.

When you’re writing, the last thing you want to think about is proper formatting, how to spell that awkward word, or whether you’re supposed to use periods or commas between items in this citation. That’s what I’m here for.

Whether you need an extra set of eyes to look over a manuscript before publishing, or need help with properly formatting your bibliography, save your sanity (and your hair!) by letting me do the hard work. I’ve spent the last seven years wrangling wrong words. I’ve seen all the tricks that commas, formatting, and obscure words can throw at writers–and I’m willing to fight them off for you.

So let’s band together, and make your writing the very best it can be.
